Operations Manager — Pristine Forests
Role Summary
Full-time operations role responsible for end-to-end vendor management, on-ground logistics and quality oversight, supply chain coordination, and SOP creation for Pristine Forests' D2C operations. Based remotely with regular travel in Delhi NCR.
Core Responsibilities
1. Vendor Management
Source, evaluate, negotiate, and onboard vendors across packaging and printing, raw materials and formulation partners, contract manufacturers, 3PL and courier partners, and warehouse operators. Maintain vendor scorecards and SLA tracking.
2. On-Ground Operations & Travel
Regular Delhi NCR travel for vendor meetings, facility audits, production oversight, QC checks, and logistics coordination. Occasional outstation travel for vendor sourcing or facility visits.
3. Supply Chain & Inventory
Manage procurement timelines, restocking cycles, and inventory levels. Coordinate across suppliers to prevent stockouts and manage lead times. Track and flag supply chain risks early.
4. Process & SOP Building
Create and maintain operational playbooks — procurement workflows, vendor escalation matrices, QC checklists, dispatch processes, inventory management protocols. Every process should be documented well enough that a new team member can execute it after onboarding.
5. Cost Optimisation
Negotiate rates and terms with vendors. Identify cost-saving opportunities as volumes grow. Track unit-level logistics costs and flag deviations.
6. Internal Coordination
Serve as the operational backbone for internal teams — unblock execution, resolve vendor issues, provide status updates, and ensure nothing falls through the cracks.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in operations, supply chain, vendor management, or procurement
- Must be based in Delhi NCR with willingness to travel frequently (2–3 days/week minimum)
- Own two-wheeler strongly preferred
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Process-oriented with a track record of creating systems, not just executing tasks
- Comfortable with spreadsheets and operational reporting tools
- High work ethic, resourceful, bias for action
Compensation & Perks
- CTC: 2,50,000 – 3,60,000 per annum
- Petrol reimbursement: up to Rs 1,000/month
- Company-provided office phone with number
- Outstation travel: 3rd AC train fare covered + Rs 1,000–1,500/day all-inclusive (lodging, food, local travel) for days outside home city
- Equity eligibility after 1 year
- Fully remote with regular field days
